Las Torcas

A cooperative Organic Farmer in La Alpujarra, formed by agriculturists from Granada, Almeria and Malaga, Spain. These two images can visually describe the development process and flowering of "Las Torcas". An empty industrial warehouse that has become the "ecological space of La Alpujarra".

Respect for the environment and focus on helping the community through education have been two basic pillars in the development of this project. Undoubtedly, an experience that has guided my  professional career.

Among the different actions carried out to promote this brand are:

We considerably improved sales of organic fruits and vegetables, in the region of Andalusia and other points in Spain and Europe. The creation of the website was fundamental in the expansion of the business, by providing an online shop and also a closer and consolidated image.

This increase in sales was essential to develop the social project eKo360º.

With a large dose of creativity and strategic vision, in just one year we managed to turn Las Torcas into the so-called "Knowledge exchange Point". Between our initiatives, the development of an specialized library about the region and its history, a public kitchen for healthy cooking classes, gardens, a playground and a multipurpose room  prepared to accommodate more than 100 people.
